The only other Sonic games I’ve played till this point is Sonic Unleashed for the WII, which I enjoyed a lot (especially the soundtrack).

Sonic 2 was kind of a reset for me. Lately gaming has felt like a chore where I’m always grinding for something. In Sonic 2 all I have to do is get through the level and beat the boss. No overly complicated story, no extremely in depth level up or stats. It’s just an awesome game with an even better sound track and beautiful design.

Only issue I have is that sometimes running or jumping feels like I’m throwing myself into a void, I don’t know if I should be playing slower or faster.
